Roosevelt Toston

Roosevelt Toston, originally from Epps, Louisiana, was Nevadas first African American Television News Anchorman/Reporter. He served five years in broadcast news performing at NBC, and CBS affiliate stations. He also worked in radio news and has won numerous awards throughout his career, publishing his first book in 2009. During Black History Month, we choose to remember those who have helped make an impact in our community. Today, we remember Roosevelt Toston for his achievements in the world of broadcasting.
